QR 2013 full paper submission deadline extended to May 5 2013

QR 2013 full paper submission deadline extended to May 5 2013

Call for Tutorials, Full Papers, and Demos

QR 2013 solicits proposals for Tutorials, Systems Demos, and Full-length Articles. Proposals of all types should be submitted using the Easychair online submission system (see below).

Tutorials

Proposals for conducting a half-day tutorial on a topic of interest to the focus area of QR 2013 are invited. Proposals could describe at least the following:
  • Aims. Who is the target audience? What will the audience walk away with? What makes the topic innovative?
  • History. List of previous venues if the same or a similar tutorial has been given elsewhere.
  • Content. If applicable, tutorial outline and list of additional materials / literature. Please be as complete as possible.
  • Tutorial description. A short paragraph summarising the tutorial outline. Please bear in mind that Tutorials requiring longer than half a day will not be considered.
  • Prerequisite knowledge. What knowledge is assumed of the target audience.
Please submit information about the presenter: name, affiliation, mailing address, email address; information on background in the tutorial area will be appreciated.

Full-length Articles

Original scientific contributions describing complete and work-in-progress research are invited. Submissions will be peer-reviewed and selected for publication in the QR 2013 proceeding; whereas all accepted papers will appear in full-length within the QR 2013 proceedings, the program committee may recommend some articles to be accepted for presentation as a poster.

Details about manner of publication of the QR 2013 proceedings will be announced in due course.

A special volume following the QR 2013 workshop is also being planned. The volume will be an independent initiative focussing on the theme and focus areas of QR 2013.

System Demonstrations

System demonstrations will provide an opportunity to showcase impressive and innovative systems. We invite applications for demonstrations from universities, research institutes, and industry. Commercial demos may required to pay extra fees. The aim of a demonstration should be to make the attendees and participating public aware of and enthusiastic about the work. It also provides an opportunity to get feedback from the community. Ongoing prototypical work may also be presented, but the proposal should clearly indicate the novelty of the work-in-progress project.
